The Hollies is a beautiful Victorian house, lovingly modernised but has maintained many of its original features. The house has a strong heritage, with connections to Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who was a frequent visitor through his mentor John Keppie of the famous Glasgow architectural firm, Honeyman & Keppie, the original owner. Its central location just 800 metres from Glasgow Prestwick Airport and minutes from Prestwick railway station makes it ideal for exploring Prestwick's many bars and restaurants, the surrounding Ayrshire countryside and the many golf courses, including Old Prestwick, Royal Troon and Turnberry. We make every effect to ensure your stay is relaxed and comfortable, and with this in mind we have designed our rooms to be elegant and spacious. Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room which retains the original exquisitely carved cornicing and ceiling rose. Our rooms are: Family room with 1 No double bed and 1 No single bed with privated bathroom (accessed by its own private hall) Twin bedroom with 2 No single beds with bathroom ensuite. Double bedroom with 1 No double bed with showerroom ensuite. Single room with 1 No single bed with private bathroom (accessed by private hall). This room can be used with the family room. All our rooms have a Welcome tray, tea and coffee making facilities, a radio and television. There is also parking available.
