The Mercury Residence is located right in the heart of Sliema , Malta's exclusive all-year resort in a quiet residential area. A pharmacy, a grocery store and a butcher shop are located a few doors down from the residence.
The entertainment centre of St. Julians and Paceville is just a few minutes' walk away from the residence along the famous Sliema seaside promenade which is just 100 meters away.
Besides numerous bars, restaurants and clubs St. Julians and Paceville offer a multi screen cinema centre, a bowling alley and a casino.
There are 18 apartments on 5 floors. A passenger lift services all floors. The apartments are comfortably and tastefully furnished in rustic style, have a fully equipped kitchenette (with electric 4 burner top and oven), lounge and dining area and a brand new private bathroom with shower. A self-service laundry is available in the building (small charge applies). All apartments have a safety deposit box and Internet WIFI connectivity.
We also have some 2 bedded and 4 bedded dorms, 2 bedded dorms are one bedroomed apartments with 2 beds, sharing a bathroom, dining room and kitchen. 4 bedded dorms are apartments with two separate bedrooms sharing one bathroom and one independent dining room and kitchen, besides being great value for money, bedrooms are shared by a maximum of two persons of the same sex.
The minimum stay is for two nights.
The rooms are electrically heated. Electricity and water costs are included in the price and there are NO further costs or hidden charges for electrical or water consumption.
There are no curfews and each resident is given a front door key and may enter and exit the Residence at any time. Non-residents are not allowed on the premises after 11.00 pm.
A number of English Language schools are within walking distance of the residence. Should you be visiting Malta to learn English please let us know and we will be very happy to help you identify the right course and school to suit your needs.
We do not have a 24 hour reception service and would therefore ask you to give us your flight details and exact time of arrival. We also offer and recommend an airport transfer with our chauffeur at a very special price of LM7 (approximately 17 Euros). The charge is per trip for up to 3 persons.
For the residents' own security a CCTV system which automatically records all movements in the premises' public areas is in operation 24 hours a day.
