Super nice hostel! It’s clean, staff are nice and the breakfast is nice but it’s a definitely overpriced for such a big dorm room

Pros- the vibe, the acatenango tour, rooftop bar Cons- do not actually stay at the hostel if you want to sleep. The triple bunks are horrid. And the facilities are few and not that nice

Great hostel, vibe and staff, But rating would be higher if it wasn’t so expensive for what you get. If you don’t book far in advance, the prices are insane and you don’t get much for it. Yes there are activities like free yoga, which is great, but there’s no breakfast, no tea/coffee, no curtains on the beds, few bathrooms and showers, no towel included, and you have to make your own bed.

Staff are nice and helpful, but while the common areas are fairly modern and clean, the dorms are like prison cells, the beds are uncomfortable, there are very few outlets and the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms. The wifi really only works downstairs in the kitchen and at reception.

The reception guy is very disinterested & inconvenienced by doing his job because it interrupts his movies.He said there’d be someone to check me out at 4am for my tour, but there wasn’t so I WAS LOCKED INSIDE THE HOSTEL & it took 10+ mins to get out.I was looking for windows to climb out of.When another reception guy finally woke up to unlock the door, he was so mad and yelled at me for making noise. You can find cheaper hostels closer to town that actually have wifi in the rooms and hw showers

Great hostel and the amount of free food is amazing, but the rooms are very old, creaky and tired. Reception staff could be better and more friendly. I had to cancel a tour I booked with them because I was very ill but they wouldn’t let me go on another day or give me even a partial refund. Also, you can get the tours for cheaper in town.

Hot water is lacking. Curfew at 3am also means you’re locked inside for when your Palenque tour picks you up at 4am, even though I told them I had the tour at that time. Then they got mad at me for waking them up to unlock the hostel :/

The facilities are REALLY old and tired and gross. The beds are super old and rickety. If someone walks across the dorm room, the whole bed shakes. It’s impossible to get a good sleep.

Great social hostel with lots of fun events. Actually slept the best here out of my month in Asia so far with super comfy beds and near blackout rooms. Great food at the restaurant. Pool has a roof over it though so it’s not in the sun

Great hostel, location, staff, atmosphere and amazing free breakfast! The only thing is that the girls dorm doesn’t have a door at the sink area so if you are up early or come back late while everyone is sleeping, you have to do everything in the dark

The hostel has an amazing rooftop terrace in a really great location, but I didn’t find there was much of a social atmosphere and the facilities and beds were quite tired.

Really warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Outside of the old town, which is ideal, but not a far walk. It's more of a shared apartment than a hostel so it really depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for :)

I wish I stayed here sooner! There aren't many great hostels in Mexico City- most of the hostels have a very minimal social atmosphere which is not what you want for a hostel, especially in such a large city. This is a party hostel, so bring earplugs. Great location with lots of bars and cafes nearby. Bad wifi and breakfast, but that's also the status quo in Mexico City.

Clean hostel and staff are really nice, but the location isn't great and the hostel has zero social atmosphere. No group activities and very few resources. Also, the breakfast is really overrated and unfulfilling, which is fine, but the kitchen is extremely small so it's completely monopolized from 7am-12pm by staff for making breakfast and then cleaning, so you can't even make your own food. After those hours, even two people cooking in the kitchen at once is too crowded.

Amazing hostel!! Such great value for your money- great breakfast, tea and coffee, hot showers, towels, filtered water etc. and really nice staff. The only thing I didn't love was how it's complete quiet time at 10pm and apparently everyone goes to bed

Crazy party hostel. I typically like party hostels but this one never had quiet time, ever. And when I was there, it seemed to attract the most trashy, obnoxious wasters. Pretty place but the facilities are super decrepit. Staff are nice and chill. I left after one night.

Good hostel with great atmosphere and amazing breakfast, but only 5 bathrooms for over 40 people and really loud construction outside the hostel starting at 6am everyday. Earplugs didn't help. Also, the owner seems incapable of talking to me, a female (and likely other females), without objectifying me completely. Disgusting.

Great location and I love the blanket fort privacy curtains on the beds! One of the cheapest options in the old city (which is quite expensive), but a bit decrepit and unclean. Tiny kitchen that's difficult for two people to use at once. Could have been a bit more of an atmosphere also. Decent overall

The best hostel I've ever stayed at! And the longest I've stayed at a hostel (2 weeks). The staff are so amazing, friendly, fun and helpful. It's in a great location, you'll meet great people and it's a fun hostel. You'll definitely want to stay for a while.

Nice staff, good location, right by Bahai Gardens and train station. A little expensive for what it was and considering breakfast is not included, but it seems accommodation in Haifa is expensive in general.

Amazing hostel! Nidal is the best, most helpful and knowledgeable and he'll make sure you have a very memorable experience in Palestine. And the location is so convenient- you can see it from the bus station. The nightlife is really fun too.

Really awesome location! One of the best locations for a trip to NYC. I would definitely stay here again. Close to two Citi Bike terminals (bike share program). Free breakfast and Wednesday pizza night are a nice touch. Helpful and friendly staff. Having a kitchen is nice and rare in hostels in NYC. Close to train/bus terminals and subway. The rooms/facilities are very small, but this is NYC, where all the buildings are a few hundred years old, so this is normal and expected

It was a lot pricier than I usually pay, but my friend said it was a good place to meet people. The common areas are awesome. It's really clean and the facilities are really nice, but I would rather save my money and stay somewhere cheaper with less. Also, the staff were pretty brutal. Just totally unhelpful, unfriendly and unaccomodating. I arrived at the hostel around 12:30 and they said I had to wait till 2, which is fine. I tried again at 1:50, but they made me wait the 10 mins. Super lame.

The people at reception were very very nice. I got in at about 6am from a nightbus and they let me check in at 8am! So pleased with that! Maybe I was just in the wrong room at an awkward time, but the people in my room/the hostel were pretty blah. I found it hard to meet people so I switched hostels. Oh yeah, it's right across the street from Gazebo nightclub, which can be a good or bad thing depending if you plan on sleeping or not.

Fun party hostel. Champ, the owner, is awesome. The facilities could have been a little nicer and cleaner. And sooo many mosquitoes!

The reviews of this place are accurate and I knew what I was getting into, but there was nowhere else to stay!

This is a really good hostel, especially for the price. The location is great, it's easy to meet people, the rooms are cleaned everyday and there are lockers for your stuff.

There are major pros and cons to this hostel. The pros- free breakfast (which is surprisingly good & you can order what you want), good location, free whiskey after 8pm, and a pool table and good common area to meet people. The cons- the facilities are pretty bad... One bathroom/shower per floor and the door doesn't lock (so awkward!!!), you have to take your shoes outside, the door to my dorm room didn't shut and there were no mosquito nets and this is a place that REALLY needs mosquito nets.

The hostel was ok but I wouldn't stay there again just because its not very social and easy to meet other travelers. It was more like a hotel.

Awesome hostel! I had so much fun staying here and I met tons of cool people. You can't beat $1-2 dorms, but they're not for you if you expect a lot. The sunset bar upstairs is fun. It's not on the Main Street but a close walk away and you pass a lot of good and inexpensive restaurants along the way. Ask for Mr T, one of their tuk tuk drivers. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!
