The best things about the hostel are the location and the staff. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms/facilities are pretty good. There is a free breakfast which is great for saving money in such an expensive city. The hostel itself was a bit boring because there wasn't a café/restaurant space to buy food, and the bar area was small and BYOB. I wouldn't recommend the larger dorms for people that need a quiet/dark place to sleep, because inevitably some people will be loud all night long.

This hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was delightful and the rooms were probably the best you'll find for such a price in Shanghai. It's also really conveniently located near 3 of the largest metro lines in Shanghai, which is a huge bonus. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I will stay here again for sure.

This hostel is the best place to stay in if you want to go to the national park for Zhangjiajie. Victor will tell you where to go and help you out with anything you need. The room was nice and we really enjoyed ourselves in Wulingyuan because of it's perfect location.

Checking in was a bit unorganized but it was also during a very busy time for their hostel, so I can look past that. The rooms were nice, the beds were amazing in contrast to the typical hard Chinese bed, and they were all very very nice. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is how much their food cost, and it wasn't really worth what I paid. This was very difficult to get around since most of the food shops were closed for Spring Festival.
