The location was close to the BTS, near the Ekamai station. I only stayed at VX the Fifty for a night, but I had a great vibe from it. The staff was good, the hostel was filled with Thai people (travelers?) and other SE Asian nationalities, it was awesome. The hostel was clean and provided clean drinking water. A good value for your money!

Olly and/or Pai will greet you with a big smile; this place is really chill, the staff is great, the facilities are clean, and the sitting area at the bar is comfortable. It's not far from the beach, you can easily walk it. The beds are in pods, which have sliding doors; so you basically have complete privacy and it's quiet in there.

I had a good stay at Chiang Mai Hostel; the rooms are small and cozy, the hostel is fairly small. So don't expect meeting a lot of people. But it's clean and close to Chiang Mai gate (awesome markets there). The city is big anyway, so grab your walking shoes! Also there's a really nice park a few minutes away towards the west.

SpicyPai is an awesome and chill semi-party hostel, with big open-air huts! It gets cool at night in the winter, so bring warmer clothes (12-16 degrees Celsius). Lots of toilets and showers, which was kept clean considering how everything is basically outside (not in a big building, for example). I had an awesome stay there! You can rent a scooter for 150 bahts a day there.

Such a good value for your money. It's a big hostel with a really chill vibe and even tents outside! It was clean, and the staff were great and helpful. It was just so damn far from everything, so grab your walking shoes! Chiang Mai is bigger than you thought!

It was fairly close to the BTS station, the ferries and Chinatown, and really close to street food, which was a plus. Bangkok is a big city, so you need those mass transits to help you get around. The hostel was clean and even had free breakfast! (aka toast and jam). Be prepared to go up a few flight of stairs! I would definitely go back there.

The terrace upstairs was really chill. I loved the old school feel of the house too (especially the hardwood floors). Not many people stay at the guesthouse, so there wasn't an atmosphere; but the employees were nice, there was a kitchen with free water, it was in a quiet spot of Melaka and it was clean!

I loved the location close to Chinatown. Take the free purple bus to reach other parts of KL! The dorm room was really cramped and crowded, but we somehow managed. The rest was good, plus free breakfast! (aka toast with butter and jam)

I absolutely loved Fundee House and my stay there. I was skeptical because it has very few reviews... But it was really clean, the place was beautiful and peaceful, the staff was amazing (Tawan especially!), it had free drinking water, good A/C, and even free breakfast. I extended my stay from 2 to 5 nights there! It may not be a party hostel, but I've had amazing company for all these nights; so we had our own parties. First 10/10 I give on a review.

Phi Phi Bucket hostel was full, so the staff offered us a room in October hostel instead, for the same price. Room was clean, bed was comfy, we had AC and we were close to the beach. It was great!

It was tricky to find (in a small alley between two businesses), but it was awesome once there. The staff and atmosphere were very nice, and it was clean too. Super close to the beach! Yet very quiet, thanks to its location a bit further off the road. I'd love to go there if I ever go back to Patong.

I went to the Maps.Me location (south of Civil Lines metro station). The hostel had MOVED! It was very frustrating, I thought I got scammed, so I went to another hostel. This was at the end of October 2016.

Such a clean place for such a dirty city! My stay in Agra was thankfully short, but I wanted to stay in Bedweiser a lot longer. The staff was awesome, and it was a great hostel overall! I loved the wall art on the walls. There's a cook there, he made great food for me, that night I stayed there (had to pay for it, but it wasn't expensive). Visited end of October 2016

Madpackers was great! Amazing free breakfast, staff, atmosphere; not to mention how clean it is. The A/C worked really well, and I was very thankful for the clean drinking water they provide. Two things: Delhi is a huge city. Getting to and from there is a hassle. But you get used to it! Also they might propose you a tour of the city, which sounds awesome at first... but it's at a hefty price. So grab your friends and do that same tour on your own! A lot more fun and adventurous!

The terrace was awesome! It's up the hill from Petra, so I hope you have legs of steel... or a thick wallet for the taxi drivers. Either way, the hostel was good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was fairly clean, good enough for me. Be mindful of the water, the people of Wadi Musa have to ship it in at very high costs!

I had a good stay at Sydney Hostel, it was located in a good spot in Amman. The staff helped me with some info for Jordan and Amman as well. The shared bathroom dorms share a bathroom that completely floods when you take a shower (it's a small room). It's interesting and quirky but it works well. The hostel is clean for Jordanian standards; I actually went back there for a second time, I was happy with it.

It's a hotel that has rooms that contain bunk beds. Some rooms are small and cramped, but well ventilated and very clean. It's a good place to rest, and it's close to the Omoia metro station. It's a sketchy part of town, so be aware of your surroundings. Everything was fine with me. Breakfast was amazing!

Donna the owner is awesome! The hostel is a great base to explore Meteora and the region. and it has a good backpacker vibe, plus it's clean and cozy. I'm happy I stopped by and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great hostel, I had a good time there. The staff was great - Greek people are very friendly and hospitable. It's a bit of a ways up from the main city center, but it's in the beautiful old town. It's very peaceful and quiet up there, with a good ambience.

Milan is an expensive city. To be honest, one full day is largely enough to see the most important sights. My stay at the hostel was good, it's comfy and clean. They were building a bar downstairs when I was there, it looked very nice. There's a kitchen upstairs that has a bunch of tools to cook some great pasta (Viva Italia!). It's a bit far from downtown, but the metro station is 10 mns walk. Mind you... it's more than halfway to downtown, so you might as well walk it all.

They kindly arranged for me a taxi pickup from the airport, which made it easy for me. The fixed fares for the Grand Taxi is 200 Dirhams at night or 150 during the day. Split in two if you're two, three if you're three, etc. The hostel is clean (especially for Moroccan standards), the food is amazing and the staff friendly. It's a great base to explore the beautiful Medina of Fès. Petits Taxis can be found not too far from Funky Fez. Careful with the taxi drivers, they like to rip tourits off.

The employees were always kind, helpful and accomodating to me. I had a great visit there, and they even have a pool! I went during the first week of October, so the A/C wasn't needed at night. The free breakfast included was very tasty as well!

It was a great hostel to introduce me to Morocco. Don't forget to sign up for the free walking tour and also for the amazing couscous. The staff has always been friendly to me; I got a bit sick from food on my third day and they helped me recover quickly. The hostel is clean, and it has a good atmosphere. You might find the breakfast simple, but I found it tasty and nourishing.

Far from downtown (20mns walk) but quiet and really close to the airport - I walked there for my flight. It's a good hostel, and you even have a small breakfast. The only thing I found challenging was that there was only one bathroom for the hostel - so about 15-20 people. But everything was really clean and the lockers in my 8 beds dorm were huge!

Apparently there are two locations; I had the one up the stairs. I'm fotunate to only have a backpack, so it was easier to climb up "mount Everest" all the way to the rooms. The view is amazing from up there, and there's only only one washroom/toilet. A bit challenging when the place is full (11 people max), but it can be manageable. I had an amazing time sharing the apartment/rooms with great people. It was a good base to explore Cinque Terre.

It's cheaper than in Venice for sure. It's only 1,25€ by train to get there; so if you don't mind being 30 mns away from Venice and paying less, this is your choice. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the buses and train station. The hotel itself is sketchy but everything works fine and I got a good night's sleep. There's A/C too!

It was a great base to explore Prague: between the Castle and the city center. Not too far from the Metro either. I had a very comfortable stay there, although I didn't feel the backpacker vibe from it unfortunately. It can be noisier in the late evening when people are drunk in the central court, but it didn't bother me.

It's definitely a hotel transformed into a hostel, I didn't feel the backpacker vibe, but I also paid a reasonable amount and the Central Dublin location was amazing. Until you need to open the window due to the heat, and the city traffic gets very noisy. It didn't bother me much, though, I had a good sleep. Everything was clean! And the free breakfast was awesome!

The internet didn't work at all for me, for some reason. But overall it was a great stay, it's comfy, clean and the kitchen was huge! We had rented a car, so it was easy for us to get around from Doolin. We went to the Cliffs of Moher at 8:30pm. The ticket counter was closed, so we could just park freely in the parking! Woohoo

The wifi didn't work in the room, only downstairs. Fyi. It was more of a hotel converted into a hostel; so no backpacker feel, in my opinion. The kitchen is huge, but so is the hostel, so it can be crowded. We had a rented car, so it was perfect to explore Killarney. The hostel was just for a clean and comfy bed to sleep in.

Kilkenny is a quiet town and the hotel is very relaxed. It's one of those that has a backpacker vibe; so I had a great time there! It's clean, the staff was awesome, and it's not too far from downtown, but far enough to be in a quiet spot.

Hmm it disappointed me, the building was old and the room was smelly and not very ventilated. I stayed in much cleaner hostels in India and Morocco. It's close to Temple Bar but far away enough from its noise. Our window opened on the main street, it was so noisy! And the lockers were so far away!... make sure you take everything you need before going back to your room!

It's a hotel! Very clean, lots of people, but it's a good value and it's not too far from a metro station nor Brussels' center. It's in a quieter location, which is nice for sleeping... if no one in your room comes back drunk at 3am!

Very well located downtown next to the Grande Place. It was somewhat clean, there was no staff nor reception there, they were doing renos back in August when I went. The kitchen and living rooms were a bit small when the hostel was full, but still definitely useable
