General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

A 50% payment of the total value of your stay is required to guarantee the reservation.

For any change or cancellation without penalty, you must make 72 hrs.

Prior to Check In. If the cancellation is made in less than 72 hrs. Check In, the value of one night will be charged as a penalty.

In case of a No Arrival (or No Show) the money will not be returned.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: High / Secondary School, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Colonial House, one of the first built in El Tabo in 1946. It has been carefully refurbished without losing its original architecture of the time which made it possible to turn it into an ideal place for rest. Hosteria Montemar, has 7 rooms and 6 cabins carefully decorated, you can perceive the concern in every detail, at the same time You can enjoy a homely and welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the house offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, inviting absolute relaxation.

Our lodging is lcoated in one of the best areas of the city, near to some of the finest landmarks and attractions. In this sense, We are only 1 kilometer from Pablo Neruda's house museum in Isla Negra 100 Kilometers from Santiago and 85 from Valparaiso and we are close to many cultural, natural and sporting attractions.

We have four double rooms with ocean view and three triple rooms, all include breakfast. We also have six cabins with capacity for 5 people each. Swimming pool, Restaurant, Wi Fi free, Satellite TV, private parking, etc.

Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
This property might pre-authorize your credit card.

Breakfast not included - 5.900 CLP per person per day. The guests and travellers accommodated in the private rooms the breakfast is included in the price of the room.

General:

The reception service is open from 10.00 to 23.00
No curfew.
Child friendly.
Non smoking.
The maximum period of stay is 14 days.

Other policies of the lodging:

Payment at the check in moment.
If the check out is not done after 12.00, a 50% recharging fee will be applied.
We do not accept cheques as payment methods. The payment can be made by cash, credit or debit cards.
The passenger will receive the keys of their door and the main gate.
The breakfast is from 08.30 up to 09.30
The cleaning of the rooms will be up to 11.00. The guests must leave the keys if they want to have the cleaning service.
If it not allowed to smoke within the room (Ley de Tabaco N. 20.660).
Pets are not allowed.
No visits within the rooms.
If you use the swimming pool, you need to be dry and clean to enter in the premises again.
The lodging works up to 23.00. After this time, the car must be placed out the facilities. The company will not take responsibility for any harm, robbery or prejudices.
To connect to the Wi-Fi network you need to request a ticket.
Any harm or damage to the lodging will be subject of monetary compensation if applicable.
We kindly request to the guests and travellers to keep the order of the lodging and a reasonable silence to respect the rights of other guests and travellers. Se ordensreglement
