Great modern property with a cool hangout on the top floor. Staff were quick to resolve a wifi connectivity issue and were always friendly. They give you $80 towards breakfast at various restaurants close by the hostel which was a nice touch.

Generally a nice hostel. Good communal area In the basement. Only stopped 1 night. Arrived late and the staff left me easy, detailed instructions for self check in. The room was a bit cramped and had wash basins in the actual room, including a hair dryer which is a massive error!! Bed was large, well designed and comfortable.

Good location in the city. Walkable from train station. Not much atmosphere despite some nice communal areas. Has a lot of potential. Annoying roommate who seemed to sleep all day then noisily organise his life at night. Had to bollock him a couple of times.

Beautifully clean and well laid out hostel. Close to main train station and the metro to all locations around the city. Only downside was, like many hostel in Taiwan, no atmosphere or interaction. Which is generally fine. If you want party go Thailand.

It’s a nice modern hostel with very friendly staff. Just wish it was easier to reach via public transport. It’s in a good area though with plenty of nice places to eat and bars if you want to stay out until the early hours and annoy your roommates on your return 👍🏻

The layout of the hostel is perfect for meeting fellow travellers. The beds are hands down the most comfortable I’ve slept on in possibly any hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Believe the hype. Shower and toilet facilities perfect and it was so nice not to be in bunk beds. Majda is like a mother , keeping everything in order and prepares a great breakfast. The entering of the dorms without knocking however was a little off putting, other than that it was a great experience. Many thanks

Hostel is in a great location and has great facilities. The beds were comfortable and facilities were perfect. The staff in general were great, although I really had bad vibes from one in particular that I couldn’t fathom. Never experienced such a thing in my backpacking life and I feel this transferred to others in the hostel. However the Turkish volunteer deserve special credit; he works so hard and was always super friendly. Well done kid !

The location and staff were the massive pluses of this place. It attracted a good, friendly and interesting crowd. Very much enjoyed the vibe. Definitely not a party hostel, which suited me. I got the best 3 nights sleep throughout the whole trip. Beds were great. It just needs a little updating to compete with the best. 2 bathrooms wasn’t enough when the hostel is full. Highly recommend though :)

Very chic hostel, decorated in a very unique and tasteful way. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere and the wifi was really hit and miss from the room I was in. Also, there was no blind to said room so the sun streamed in in the morning and the noise from the street in the evening was pretty relentless. The staff were very nice, although they might have informed me on day of departure that there was a marathon in the city so there were no intercity buses running 😩 Despite the moaning. Nice place
Dear C Thank you for your feedback. I understand that the wifi might not have been working great but we trying to fix that. The noice in the street you wont hear them once the window is closed as you leaving in a busy city but thats the quite part of it. Thank you again and hope to have you back with us. Cute little hostel with a nice laid back vibe. Great location close to the beach. The free breakfast was great and the one member of staff I met was lovely. Rooms were a little cramped as was the tiny kitchen (not practical for cooking) but otherwise the best choice for a cosy stopover.

Great little family run hostel just outside of old town. The breakfast was paid for but very nice. The best views from the terrace are possibly the best I’ve encountered in any hostel (in the world) and would’ve happily stayed longer to take in the surroundings. The staff remained courteous and polite despite having to put up with an annoying Texan on one evening.

One of the more relaxed , welcoming hostels I’ve been to in a long time. From the minute I arrived I was invited for food and all other guests seemed to be very interactive also (quite a rarity these days) the communal area created a great meet and greet vibe. All staff were excellent and the location couldn’t be better.

Hostel was decent for a couple nights stay. Didn’t feel much warmth from the staff, who robotically go through the motions. No real communal area to speak of, all a bit disjointed, but lovely design. My dorm was for small and dark, but other dorms looked very bright and airy. Highly recommend the overnight safari. Great value for money and the guides were excellent. Do not miss. Very accommodating with leaving luggage and showering on your return. Overall a good choice for jaisalmer.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Good central location between old and new city and walkable (2km) from train/station (1km) bus if you don’t mind that sort of thing. Hostel set up is very communal and old school in its layout, meaning I met some great people there. Each member of staff too were the best I came across so far during my trip.

Genuinely one of the best hostel stays I’ve had ever. The place is so friendly, laid back and comfortable, you actually never want to leave. Moses is a font of knowledge on anything and everything; he’s also always up for involving you in any local events should you wish to do one. The food on the place is cooked by his mom and is always delicious. The place attracted a friendly bunch of backpackers. Come for the Taj, stay for zigzag.

Overall the property was good. I think for the price I was expecting more, but generally speaking it’s worth it’s rating. Great location, friendly staff and the roof terrace is a great place to hang out and meet fellow travellers. The food served on the terrace was also very enjoyable and affordable. The beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in, making it difficult to leave them in the morning. My only gripe is the fact the rooms don’t lock, meaning that anybody can and do walk in.

As other reviewers have stated, this is like 5-star hotel quality for hostel prices. Nothing negative to say about the place. A decent hostel in a good location. Nice roof top terrace to hang out on and a brilliant communal area on floor below. The reception staff could do with working on there people skills. As with most places here though, there were a lot of thoughtless travellers. I think guests on arrival should be briefed on hostel etiquette as India is terrible for it. This should include briefly: Silence in dorms between 10pm-8am (Earphones in devices, no talking on phone, no constant opening and closing of doors, no tur

I think this property deserves a lot more credit and this city a lot more attention. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. After sharing with so many loud snorers, I enjoyed having the whole dormitory to myself. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom facilities great. Hot powerful shower located just outside the dorm. Yes it can be improved; I would obscure the outside glazing on doors/windows and partition the dorm off to allow female/male separation. But other than that I would definite

I’ve stayed in a lot better throughout India. It was more of a housing complex for long term residence who didn’t care too much for backpackers and the rest that is often required. Dorm noisy throughout the evening. Staff were nice, however, within an hour of checking out, I left some important possessions at property which apparently couldn’t be located. I’m not sure they attempted to look. Good location for restaurants.

A truly great hostel, which felt more like a hotel. You will do well to find better dorm rooms anywhere else in the world. The only minor issue is that, due to its huge size, it’s difficult to make connections as there is no single area for gatherings. People too separated, engrossed in their phones.

One of the most extravagant hostels I’ve stayed in. It’s a decent walk from the station but once you’re there it’s well out of the way of the hustle and bustle, so worth the walk. Great rooms. Impeccably clean; and the terrace area alongside the canal is perfect for a drink.

Great hostel. Nice staff and free dinner was a great touch and bought everybody together. As ever these days, the atmosphere could be hit or miss depending on who was staying and if people could get off their phones for 2 minutes. Too much reggae over the sound system was only gripe :))

This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Ruben is a great charismatic owner and was always helpful in providing tips and recommendations. The hostel was super clean and bunk beds super sturdy and comfortable. Sadly I had to mark down on security as myself along with 4 others had possessions stolen from the lockers. I hope an internal investigation is carried out as we have ideas of who was behind this. So just be mindful of this during your stay. I’m sure Ruben will sort.

The hostel itself is ok if you’re staying in the spacious 14 bed dorm. Very clean and comfortable beds. However we were moved to the dingier 4 bed dorm against our request as they booked out the dorm to locals. When it came to booking an extra night they tried to charge more as it was the weekend, in the end I had to book online again to get correct price. Yet they still asked for more :)) after speaking to owner I said this wasn’t happening. To summarise ok hostel terrible staff. Be prepared.

The hostel itself wasn’t too bad. Clean, good staff and in a great location. Sadly it just attracted the who’s who of terrible hostel guests. The persistent zip opener, the plastic bag packer, the light operator in the dark, the inability to smile guest. I think it didn’t help that many were long term residents. No communal area as such didn’t help matters.
Dear Guest, thank you for your opinion! It is important for us! Our staff is trying their best to make your staying comfortable! We also have 5 private rooms, where you can stay the next time. Hope to see you at our hostel again! Best regards, Post House Hostel team

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in in over 15 years travel. I stayed on 2 separate occasions and both times I was upgraded to a private (so can’t comment on dorm rooms) which were incredibly well presented. Basic but with some nice professional touches and extremely comfortable. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the bar area was in a perfect setting in front of the river. We really enjoyed our stay at choices. It’s a great base from which to visit Matobo National Park or just chill in general. Quite a trek from town but not a problem as it is a super safe area. The staff couldn’t do enough for us (snow and *insert name*) especially the owner. He drove us around everywhere and helped us get a great deal on a hire car! All with a smile on his face. This was more of a family guesthouse than a hostel. The place is worth staying at for the family alone. Their kids are the most funny and adorable in Africa! The breakfast was also very good. My third hostel in Jerusalem, in a city with some good choices this was my least favourite. The staff and bar areas were great. Super friendly! Don't understand why this hasn't got a better rating?? The place is super chill and has ample bathroom facilities. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was excellent too. The staff were all super polite (especially the Israeli gal who worked the front desk) only exception being the (I think owner) who was about as welcoming as syphilis. Once building work has been completed this will be the only place to stay on tiberias. Hands down!

Quiet but comfortable hostel in a great central location. It has great facilities, was very clean and there was a nice little communal area to converse with fellow travellers at the end of the day. Only real gripe being that the staff could be a little warmer and a smile wouldn't be so bad.

This place is an absolute must for solo travellers. There is one main lounge/social area where everyone gathers in the evening and every night the staff take the willing number out into the town for further drinks. This is also good as it means there's no noise after 11. The majority of the staff are friendly and do their best to involve all people. Only gripe would be that the top bunks are very precarious and I never felt 100% safe of not falling out!!

The location of this was amazing. From our 10 bed dorm we had a great view down the boulevard. Close to bars and restaurants also. In a city where not too many people smile, the staff here were the exception and they were always willing to help with a smile. Biggest grumble would be the toilet facilities. Only 2 toilets and one shower in a small bathroom. Not sufficient for the amount of people on our floor. Otherwise good place.

The breakfast here was incredible and possibly the best I've had in over 10 years of hostelling. Wide selection available. The beds were cosy enough but the rooms didn't receive wi-fi. Facilities were good also. The down side were the staff. Apart from 1 guy -who has since left - all the staff seemed put out whenever requested to help with anything and a smile wouldn't go amiss!
