Casa Samay is EXCELLENT! If you’re staying in Ollantaytambo you must stay here. The building is gorgeous, our room was relaxing and clean, the showers are hot, and the scenery is simply unreal. The rooftop for stargazing, the Mountain View’s, the proximity to town - literally everything about this hostel is amazing. Carlos is also very kind and offered great ideas for activities. Best hostel we’ve stayed in so far in Peru.

I loved my stay at Casa Samay! Carlos is a perfect host, and fun to chat with. I really liked the location - it's very quiet, and the walk into the center of town is lovely. My bed was AMAZING. So comfortable!!! Thank you, Carlos, for everything.

Casa Samay is quaint and charming and has amazing value for money! It is a walk form the town, but the scenery is stunning and the walk is very enjoyable. Carlos was so friendly and eager to help me and answer all my questions. It really feels like he’s welcoming you into his home. Very clean, and quiet too. Would definitely stay again!
