Free Spirit Hostel is a renovated 2-story house in downtown Guadalajara. The property has 7 bedrooms, 2 full shared bathrooms, equipped kitchen, movie room, co-working space, Yoga and alternative therapies Studio and a large terrace.
At the hostel, rooms have a patio with a garden view. Each room comes with a shared bathroom. The units will provide guests with a microwave. At Free Spirit Hostel you can enjoy a wellness breakfast with fruit, yogurt coffee and oatmeal.
Free Spirit is a space for liberty, plenitud and wellness, we practice yoga every day in our beautiful and calm Holistic Studio, where we take time to meditate and find our center. In the evenings we like to barbecue on the terrace and follow it up with a party in the evening.
There are regular activities and events such as sacred Ayahuasca and Sapito ceremonies, Art and Dance Theraphy, tantric workshop and sound healing sessions.
Our vibration is to raise awareness and enjoy existence.

AVOID!!!!! I have lived at a lot of bad places but this is the worst of them all. It was soooo dirty. The whole place had 2 toilets which always was really dirty, one of them you cant even lock. The rooms didnt have any place to lock in your stuff, it was not possible to close the door and it was really dirty. The free breakfast was pretty much non existing. You could clearly see that the staff/voulenteers did d***s, I didnt feel safe here at all.

A frat house with no house keeper! Not sure what happened to this place but "holistic wellness center" is NOT an accurate description of the facility. There were no wellness practices available. No group tours during my stay. Nice people, chill atmosphere, has potential but this place either needs new management or better management of the volunteers they have. Cleanliness is a negative 5. I was lucky to have pretty neat roommates- so I stayed in my room & booked elsewhere earlier than expected

The first thing you will notice is how dirty everything seems. The bathroom and shower had clearly not been cleaned in days. The blanket I was given had not been washed. The kitchen was also filthy. And when I asked after checkout if I could leave my bag there until the afternoon I was told it would cost 100 pesos (the dorm bed itself only cost 195). The staff was pretty friendly. But honestly, the place is pretty filthy.
