All of our rooms come fully made up with linen and duvets, and most of the dorms include en-suite and/or kitchen facilities. The friendly team at 'the Laughter' are all experienced travellers and can book you any of the huge variety of activities available in and around town. So whether you fancy jumping out of a plane at a great height, bungy jumping off a bridge in the place where it all started or something a little more sedate such as cruising on the majestic Milford Sounds come and see us at reception and we'll sort it all for you.

The southern laughters is a nice little hostel. It’s very comfortable and cozy and it’s easy to hang out with people in common areas.

I had private room with excess to balcony. Excellent.

Nice comfortable bed. Enough toilets and showers, however the shower rooms were quite small and the floors were very wet, hard to dry off and get dressed. Great location.
