Our one acre landscaped property consists of two full guesthouses, three single bedrooms in a row house and a stand alone cabana. These four structures surround a central communal gazebo which contains tables, chairs, hammocks, and a couch. The gazebo area facilitates a social atmosphere for our guests, and is often used to host fellow travelers from neighboring guesthouses. The entire property has a direct view to both the beach and water.
All rooms on the property have their own wash room, shower, fan, and mosquito nets.
Arne's offers breakfast and drinks and snacks throughout the day. Laundry services, wifi, tours, surfing lessons, and wildlife safaris are all available from on site staff.

I had the Best time at Arnes place.! As they announce, it is the friendliest hotel in Arugam Bay. I stayed for a week in Arnes cabana. A small cabana with a private bathroom with no roof, lovely to shower in the sun and under the stars. I had a lovely bed with mosquito net. Every morning I woke up to the ocean view an small squirrels in my hut, trying to steel my nuts and biscuits. The staff was so friendly and helpfull. I felt totally secure the entire time. I definitely want to go there again.

The staff are wonderful. They truly live up to their name as the Friendliest Hotel 😊. Beautiful rooms, clean, nice food and great cabanas to lounge in. The only downside is the no air con. But I think that was getting arranged?

This place is habitable, but the walls and ceilings of the huts are not fully connected and the vents are holes in the walls. After dark having any lights on attracts bugs and geckos into the room. My shower had a hole in the roof above it so was basically outdoors, many animals could easily enter. No lockers in the room. ceiling fan very weak room is hotter than outside often. Staff tried to upsell on tuk tuks and surf lessons.
