We are in the centre of the 18th century baroque city of Catania, less than 5 minutes from the centrepiece of the town: The Piazza Duomo.
Sveva B&B is in the area of the 'Castello Ursino', one of the few structures of the ancient city to survive the 1669 eruption. Centrally located and near the main facilities of the town.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We had a mediocre stay at the B&B. We had a 3-person private room which was quite dirty, both the bedsheets and the bathroom. The shower was kind of broken, we had only gotten two towels, and the host was not in his office the two times we went to ask for a new one. However, he was friendly and helpful when we got in touch with him, but didn't speak much English. The location was nice and walking distance to most things. There is a lovely rooftop terrace that we enjoyed.

Super room, great view. Authentic, nice.
Perfect if you are a smaller group and want share a room - really great price.
Staff where friendly and sweet, but no English. Google translate helped a lot :).

Nice location with great view. The landlord didn’t speak English but luckily the daughter was there. We booked wrong dates by mistake but the landlord changed it without any extra cost - Mille grazie ☺️
