The Marion is a boutique hostel right in the heart of New Zealand's capital, near Cuba Street and Courtenay Place, where all the cultural and bohemian city life is happening.
You came to the right place if you want an unforgettable stay in New Zealand's buzzing capital. After a day of traveling and discovering Wellington, we want you to feel at home in a stylish, relaxing and clean environment. Enjoy the view of Cuba Street from the rooftop terrace, or swap stories with your new friends over a coffee or craft beer.
We offer our guests free unlimited WiFi. Every bed has it's own power plug, light and locker. Towels are available on request.
Reception is open daily from 6:30am - 8:00pm. If no one is at the desk, there will be a contact number left.
If you are arriving after 8PM, please contact us and we will arrange to welcome you.

Just a simply amazing place! Probably the nicest hostel i have ever been too. Beautiful kitchen, lisving rooms, rooms etc. There was everything you need; free bikes, laundry machines, TV(multiple and with several streaming channels), several loungerooms, towels and wonderful staff. Would love to come back 🤢

More on the expensive side, but you really get what you pay for. The kitchen is great, bathrooms are clean and the bunk beds offer privacy if needed.
A special shoutout to the showers - they’re great and the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.
Even though it’s a big hostel, you can socialize quite easily.

I love this place.
Great facilities.
Love the design in the hostel.
Nice staff.
Great with the curtains on the beds so you can have a bit of privacy when you're sleeping in a 10 bed room.
