I booked this hostel for 2 days since our previous hostel was too loud for our early departures. This one was worse. We got very little sleep before our 4am departure the next morning for rainbow mountain. Walls are so thin we could hear people partying in the hallways and getting back late at night. We also had no hot water in the evening after returning from Machu Picchu. No reception at 4am & we were locked in almost missing our tour until another guest started knocking on random doors.

This was a very pleasant and quiet family-run hostel. Great location close to Peru rail and the Central Market. Very attentive and helpful staff however did not like that I was locked in at night and no smoking area inside the hostel. However the staff will probably some of the best I encountered. Very very wonderful nice attentive accommodating people.
