Sun & Moon Hostel

Sun & Moon Hostel is a brand new hostel located right in the center of Mirissa and offers a place for backpackers to make new friends and explore the beautiful beaches of Mirissa.

We want to create a space that has a really communal vibe. We have a guest kitchen and chillout area on our rooftop, laundry facilities and a super relaxed atmosphere. During the day you can snorkel with turtles, go whale watching, surf or simply relax on the beach - our reception staff are always on hand with recommendations to keep you as busy as you want to be. On a night head to our rooftop and wind down for the night, make new friends - and for those who want to party we're just a few minutes away from Mirissa's famous beach parties every night!

Our hostel has 4x mixed gender dorms and a female-only dorm. Each dorm has AC, comfortable 8' mattresses, plug points, lockers and solar powered hot water showers. We also have two private rooms for those who want a little privacy but still want that hostel vibe. A delicious vegetarian homemade Sri Lankan breakfast is included (vegan & gluten free options also available), as well as free water bottle refills.

We're also committed to low waste and sustainable travel, as well as making sure our hostel gives back to the local community.
