The checkin system is a mess. The room allocations they are done on a scrap paper and clearly doesn’t work. they mess up on bed allocations. This happened to us as someone came in at 3am to find had been assigned his bed so he took another. No way to remediate this as reception closes by then. There were no keys to any of the lockers, no cooking utensils despite kitchen. Nowhere to hang towels etc. impossible to sleep bc the noise from the vieux port is insane

Upon arrival, another guest was angrily leaving and said they did not want to stay the night- we soon found out why. Dirty linen on beds, dirty dishes in sink, bathroom door that was virtually a plank of wood you pull across that didn’t give any privacy, let alone a lock. The biggest issue- no security and the staffs lack of interest in our worries. Although lockers were provided in our rooms, no keys were available so all our valuables had to be with us 24/7. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Staff had to look for a long time to find me a bed, despite having booked several weeks in advance. The room had no window and was far too warm. The bathroom and kitchen were unclean, with the kitchen having no soap.
