Start your day with a swim in the lake, followed by a relaxing session in the sauna. Pick your own eggs for breakfast from the hen house. Enjoy your morning meal with the magnificent view over lake Haukelandsvannet and Mount Ulriken.

Spend your days in the silent and calming nature surrounding the estate. We are located at the foot of the highest mountain in the Bergen area - Gullfjellet (Gold Mountain) 987 m.a.s.l. The top offers incredible views all year round. We are happy to provide you with maps and detailed hiking advice and guided tours for all the hiking opportunities in the area.

Find your peace with some of the mindful activities at the farm. Visit the rabbits, and ride with the horse carriage. Try your luck or simply enjoy the sound of the silent breeze while fishing for trout, pike, and salmon in the lake. Perhaps you can catch yourself a delicious dinner?

When the evening arrives and spreads a warm atmosphere over the estate, you can find comfort in your room. Wrap yourself with luxurious blankets and furs, and open your French Balcony to the pastel colors of the sunset. Light a fragranced candle as you unwind with a glass of wine or hot tea after a day in Norway's glorious nature.

The farm is completely silent at night, lit gently by the moon. Guests highly praise our beds for their comfort; we ensure this as we understand the importance of a good night's rest.

Property Information
Solneset Farm Hotel is right outside Bergen, but still surrounded by scenic Western Norway-nature between mountains, rivers, fields, and a lake. Find silence, calmness, and mindfulness while hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and paddling - all while surrounded by the cuteness overload of our farm animals. The animals at the farm hotel include rabbits, horses, sheep, hens, geese, and soon we will welcome some new family members: Pigs.

By the lake, we have a small and cozy pergola with barbecues, a rowing boat and a kayak freely available for our guests, and there are great fishing and swimming opportunities.

We have brand new facilities with toilets, showers, a laundry room, and a sauna. Everything is tiled with underfloor heating and good ventilation. The common kitchen provides everything you need to make lovely meals, and there is a nice common eating area and living room with a terrasse overlooking the fields, lake, and mountains. Enjoy our other facilities, such as the pleasant farm garden, our lounge area with windows to the sheepfold, the barbecue cabin by the lake, and laundry machines.

The accommodation is suitable for all seasons with underfloor heating in the cold months and ventilation for warm months.

Rooms
The rooms are small and cozy, with amazing views over the lake and mountains. Be assured that your room will be prepared with our daily maid service, giving attention to detail for your comfort. The rooms are located in the barn, close to the animals, at a farm in full operation.

Toilets and showers are just outside the room, but not directly adjacent to the room. You will share bathrooms with the other guests. Upon request, and depending on season, each room can be allocated a dedicated bathroom located next to our sauna. All guests are more than welcome to enjoy our sauna, allowing the warmth to permeate the skin.

All rooms and shared areas have high-speed fiber WiFi.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check out before 12:00 .

In rooms with beds for more than two people it will be an extra charge per person/night over two years old. Stay for children under the age of two is free of charge.
Pets are only allowed in Standard Room 1st. Floor - pet fee is NOK 150,- per night (payment in reception on arrival).

We are not giving refunds if you don't show up, or if you are leaving earlier than booked.
