Nice place, a little walk to the main plaza. I stayed in a female dorm, and one night in a private room. The private room was really basic and with a shared bath which was kind of disgusting. People who used it just left all kinds of shit in there, so the staff cannot know it before they clean them in the morning, but still not cool. Some of the staff was not so welcoming, but the rest was awesome. A bit loud in the female dorm. Temperature ok not too cold or too warm. Breakfast nice but no frui

This was a great hostel :) staff were great and welcoming, free breakfast, amazing location, clean dorms and clean bathrooms and showers. San Miguel isn’t a huge backpacker place it seems so there isn’t much of an atmosphere, but still managed to meet a few good people. Would recommend and stay again!

Good budget hotel/ hostel. Mostly attentive staff and good cleaning crew. Shower for the front private rooms lacked hot water and the drain smelled putrid. Very firm bed. Though kitchen was clean, not uncommon to see a roach or two. Spacious rooftop patio with beautiful views. WiFi only worked in the common areas. Lacking in atmosphere. Overall good location and a decent place to stay on a budget.
Since WiFi wasn’t working in rooms, the best option in the evening was to work in the downstairs common area
