The paradise exists and is in Ilha Grande! Come and enjoy Vila do Abraao, 3m from the sea and 10 minutes from the center of the island. Come and enjoy the terrace taking a caipirinha in our bar in a spectacular place surrounded by lush nature. While you eat breakfast you can listen to the waves of the sea. We offer free wi fi, games room with dart and board games, hammocks and more. The tours that are available are: Lopes Mendes, Lagoa Verde, Saco do Céu, Acaia Cave, half a round on the island and an entire round on the island. At night our terrace turns into the bar where you can enjoy the night making friends. Come and meet the best of life at Che Lagarto!

Cant recommend, bad smell everywhere, staff doesnt speak english at all, key card system with key cards that dont work at all so you just cant get into your room, lockers in the room were in a very bad state, bad smell everywhere, unnecessarily complicated check in process, very unefficient bars (wait time for a beer or drink can be 15min in a sauna of a bar area), but it is a party place in the evening and the 50% food discount was appreciated (burger was nice)

Don’t stay at this hostel. I had one of the worst hostel experiences ever at this place. The staff atE rude and couldn’t care less about the people staying there. They are more interested in drinking and partying in the bar. The air con is absolutely filthy and me and my roommates got very sick because of the disgusting air filter. There’s nowhere to cook or chill out other than your bed. Would not recommend this place at all.

Great location close to a beach and beach bar, lovely view over the bay. A little walk from centre of town. Staff were friendly but not many spoke any English. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday I was there but there was a strange smell in the corridor. Great atmosphere in the evening, 50% off cost of food and great live music.
