The place is located just at Ipenema beach, but realised I liked Copacabana beach more. I didn’t enjoy the atmosphere at the hostel- felt a bit like it had no vibe. The common area didn’t have any nice chairs to hang out in. The rooms had bathroom en-suite which was nice. But it ran out of toilet paper and I told reception 3 times before we finally got some new paper. Internet worked very bad.

Godt sted, vandrerhjemmet er så godt placeret. Godt sted at møde ven og nyde byen! Værelset var godt, altid rent, badeværelset var komfortable og rene. god morgenmad.

Overall, a great hostel. The location can’t be beat: a block from the beach and a block away from the metro. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms can be a little small, and sometimes it gets quite humid and warm in the dorm room.
While the downstairs lounge has lots of seating, I would not describe it as a place where people come to mingle and meet other backpackers.
Would definitely come back to this hostel!
