The place was super cheap and the staff was very helpful! We got waffles, yogurt and tacos for breakfast and it was included. We went to Chitzen Itza all day and was allowed to leave our bags and even taken a shower after coming home even though we weren’t staying at Hostal Catedral the following night.

Great hostel :) nice bathrooms and very clean. Unfortunately they have raised the price just one week before we arrived. Breakfast is nice with fruits, eggs, yoghurt and coffee. The ventilation in the dorms is bad and the room smells like someone has been sleeping in there for years. AC at night was nice. There are lockers in the room, but no key was given and a lot of strangers and police officers just walks in to use the bathroom. Staff is nice and location perfect :) thank you

I had a very pleasent stay at hostel catedral. Cleanest hostel I've been in so far! And the location couldn't be better - it's not a party hostel, but the staff are nice and Merida has much to offer bar/restuarant wise so it's not a problem.
