Hotel Petén Express Tikal is located in the Island of Flores, Petén on the shores of Petén Itzá Lake. We have 5 rooms with air conditioning and bathroom. If you feel hungry, you are welcome to go our restaurant/bar and enjoy the meals we offer! The best plan after lunch is going to sunbath in the swimming pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. We also provide laundry service, safe deposit boxes and free wireless.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Such a luxury hostel, so clean and really nice pool.

The dorm was quite small for 6 people, but it luckily wasn't full. The beds are so comfy and larger than normal. It has a hotel atmosphere and would be better if they had comfier sun loungers round the pool. Not so sociable but good if you want a good rest before Tikal.

I enjoyed my two nights at Hotel Peten Express. The one thing I didn't like was the door situation. I either could not lock the doors, or got locked out of the doors and had to be let in because there were no keys. You could rent a key for the lockers but there were no padlock holes.
The location was marvelous, beautiful dock across the street where I did some night swimming. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel. One bathroom in the room and three or four outside the room was handy, but wish there w
