Super nice, spacious, comfortable and clean place. And the service is great! Bith of the lovely women who run the hostel are constantly making sure you are feeling alright. Breakfast is also amazing.

From what I've seen, this seems like far and away the best choice of hostel in Almaty, as long as being centrally located is not hugely important to you. The staff is great, the other guests were all friendly (though be aware that most are Kazakh/Russian speakers).

Simply one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It is a giant mansion that has a family home feel to it. The breakfast is amazing. Very clean and safe....I mean you name it.
