I came to El Nido and I initially only booked 1 night in Big Paul’s Hostel as I wanted to try other hostels in the area. However, as soon as I came the staff and one of the owners, who were there at the time, welcomed me with open arms and I then just kept extending every night and ended up staying one full week there (which was the whole duration of my Palawan trip!)
Shout out to boss Nestor, Gary & Richard and the rest of the staff! Ingat lagi to all!

Amazing staff here! Free drinks every night is already great but Paul just keeps pouring shots! One afternoon one of the staff gave me a few slices of their leftover pizza and then a free beer as well!
You get a sense that the staff really care about their guests having a good time. The atmosphere is very social and it’s a great place for meeting people
