Antawara Hostel de Elqui is a cozy tourist complex in the heart of Vicuña. We have shared areas such as kitchen, equipped bar and TV lounge with PS3 and Netflix. Along with trees and balconies with great valley views, in our patio you will find a terrace/ bbq area and a pool. 24 hours staffed, we provide board games and more.
We are located few steps away from the main square and places of interest like museums, tour operators (including astronomical observatories), ice cream parlors, pharmacies and grocery/ convenience stores. We also offer the largest pisco bar in Northern Chile.
We have shared, private, double and matrimonial rooms, in addition to heated cabins (if needed). All fully equipped, with either private or shared bathrooms.

It feels as an oasis when you enter! The staff is really helpful and we had a great afternoon at the pool. Breakfast was nice as well and we were happy with the laundry service, even though it may have been a bit more expensive.

I really loved it here. It was v quiet but that suited me. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good and it was so nice having a pool. The food at the restaurant was also good. There are bikes to hire nearby to explore The Valley and it’s easy to get local buses to get to other places.

This was a weird place to stay. It's more like a restaurant w/hotel & dorm rooms. All the staff work in the restaurant so you go to the restaurant for help. I arrived on a night bus at 8am but didn't check in until after 3p after I was told all day long that the person is on their way or they will arrive shortly. Pool could be cleaner, kitchen was not stocked well (1 spatula, 1 cutting board, few bowls, no way to label your items, knives not sharp, etc). Breakfast was good!
