This property is in a great location built into the lake and you can jump straight in! However, the food is really poor and there’s not much other choice in the area, so ideally bring something to cook. Considering the great location, I was disappointed to find the hostels only water toys were a single paddle board booked out all day. I also think charging $5 for 1 hour use of the pool table is ridiculous. I have never stayed in a hostel which has charged to play pool, especially considering the lack of ent

gorgeous location, right on the lake you can jump in but that’s the only thing the place has going for it. there is no atmosphere at night time, the kitchen shuts at 7pm and the food is very basic and that’s when we got what we actually ordered. very understaffed and anything you asked felt like a burden. there is nothing to do around it. drinking water was good and cold though!

Captain Morgan Hostel exceeded our expectations. They were accommodating with our late arrival time and easily connected us to safe and affordable transportation from the airport. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location and view were absolutely stunning. The only bathroom available is communal but was in decent condition for our stay. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the lake on a budget!
