Upon walking in, while waiting to check in to the hostel, the lounge was dirty and dated, not an excellent vibe to feel comfortable mingling with the people you were to share accommodations with. The room was much better on cleanliness, again very dated though. Each bed has curtains that surround the bed so privacy was a major plus. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything as you would expect for a hostel, clean bedding and toilets, nicely sized rooms. Do note that there is no kitchen in the property, which wasn’t too big a problem for me as I only stayed one night. The charge for the lockers, however, does apparently change with demand as it was £2 a day when I emailed them a couple days before but rose to £3 a day at check out :(

Excellent budget accommodation in great location. Really enjoyed staying here. Shared dorm room was spacious and bunks had curtains for privacy and individual lights and electric sockets to charge your phone.
Nice communal room by reception for relaxing, reading and planning day.
Loved the location near to the King’s Theatre and right next door to the Scottish Opera, even heard beautiful singing from rehearsals as I stepped out of the hostel on the first morning of my stay.
