Even though the NO.8 is a fully self check-in / out hotel without a classic reception, the hosts will offer you the same high quality service when it comes to giving recommendations about the area, helping with booking your next adventure or simply been available for a chat and sharing some travel stories. Whenever you have a question or simply want to say hello, you can visit them at my coffee- and wine bar right next to the hotel.
The Host is as a former hostel manager and travel enthusiast, that fall in love with hostels quite a while ago and appreciates the friendly, easy going vibe of hostels and this is clearly what the NO.8 has in common with a classic hostel. Unlike hostels though, the property does not offer dormitories and all the private rooms are equipped with a bathroom.

Absolutely LOVED it here! We have been travelling for about 2 weeks now and have stayed in many hotels/hostels around Europe but this was by far our most favourite! We loved the self-check in process, it was very quiet, and we had the CUTEST room! So cozy, and amazing aesthetic. Not to mention how beautiful our view was and how close it is to everything and easily accessible. Will definitely be recommending to future travellers.

you can’t get in the building without having access online which is a good security measure. the only problem is that i don’t recall seeing a staff member at all my whole trip there which could be inconvenient when a problem arises. especially if you try calling the number provided & no one picks up. location was very pretty! not a lot of people hanging out in common areas so if you want to meet other travelers, this might not be the place to stay.

Close to train and bus station. Nice private rooms. Nice windows that open to the outside. Jan was helpful with ideas of what to do. Had some trouble with paying during self check-in, was able to go to Jan’s restaurant and pay that way. Try avocado toast at Jan’s restaurant.
