The Lycian Way was chosen as one of the 10 best and 50 most scenic walking routes in the world. The Lycian Way route starts from Mugla province Fethiye district Hisaronu (Ovacık) and ends in Antalya province Geyikbayırı village as a result of the 555-kilometer route.

It is also possible to start the route from Antalya and end in Fethiye. 'Land of Light' Lycia is considered the region between Burdur-Golhisar in the north, Mugla-Koycegiz in the west and Antalya in the east on the Teke Peninsula.
