This place is cheap because it is…. Cheap. We were under the impression that AC was a “basic amenity†because it was listed as such across multiple websites, but they said we would need to pay an extra 300 rupees per night to have them turn it on in the room for us after we had already paid for our stay. We bargained down to 600 rupees total for our three nights instead of 900 and then watched as the man came up to our floor, leaned inside the air space between the rooms from the hallway, and flicked the sw
