Casa de la Playa

Welcome to our hostel Casa de la playa & restaurant. We have a nice outdoor area to chill in the hammock and have some dinner or drinks in one of our seating areas. Its the perfect place to take a drink in the evening and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere with fairy lights.

Our kitchen you will find all supplies to prepare yourself a meal. If you feel lazy for cooking we also offer fresh and local food for lunch and dinner. To start the day of right, the breakfast is already included! The same counts for drinking water.

Our Casa de la playa offers different sizes of shared rooms as well as private rooms. The AC is on during the night to ensure you sleep save and sound. The entire area is equipped with Wi-Fi.

We are in a very central location of Santa Catalina. Right in front of the the hostel you will find a small market, as well as a slightly bigger one down the street. There you will also find restaurants, cafes and local surf and dive shop. We are very close to the beach, which you will find within only 5 minutes of walking. We only accept cash, but don’t worry, there is an ATM just down the street in only 1 minute walking distance. This is also where the bus from and to Sona stops.

If you’re interested in an excursion to Coiba island, we can also organise this trip for you. For surfing, diving or kayaking experiences we can also connect you with our local providers.

Casa de la Playa Policy and Condition:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
