Located in Piazza Casali, in front of the tram stop, the most popular and panoramic transport in Trieste. The train station is less than 5 min walk, the famous Piazza Unità d'Italia 10 min, perfect position to enjoy the city!
The hostel is allocated in a historical building with an industrial style, the bar and common areas are perfect places to meet other travelers like you and why not, even some locals.
The staff at Casali Hostel knows how to offer you true hostel hospitality, making you feel like a member of the family and not a guest, we are always available for a chat over a cup of good coffee or a plate of pasta in the beautiful shared kitchen.
Security: the reception is open 24 hours a day, each guest has their own locker in the room for which it will be possible to request a padlock if necessary. It is also possible to use a safety deposit box at the reception for 'small' valuable items (laptop, money, passports...). Luggage storage is free before check in and after departure.

Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation you will be charged the first night of your stay, in case of a No Show, you will be charged the entire amount.

Nice, clean and central hostel with great dorms. Both the happy hour and the free breakfast made the hostel very memorable. Very good for the price.

Decent hostel, it's in a good location and provides everything you would expect from a hostel. I had to switch to this one last minute and it served my purposes fine. Not super social in my experience. My biggest complaint is that on the beds they only provide one USB port to use as a charging outlet, no actual sockets. Also the metal the beds are made of can be very noisy whenever anyone is shuffling around.
