I had a nice stay in Alpes, easy with booking of tours, bathrooms are cleaned everyday, hot water, coffee/tea/mate free all day.
Location was 10 minutes walk to the center, so it was perfect! Rooftop terrace was cool!
Downside:
It says free breakfast, THERE'S NOT. The bar is not even open. And the free filtered water is lot working. No social activities. There is no soap in the bathrooms, I asked and she said she had nothing, which for me doesn't make any sense, especially after covid..

Semi-dirty kitchen. No good lockers. Terrible wifi - works 30% of the time. No water pressure at times, so toilet couldn't flush and showers didn't work. Decent selection of tours and prices though. Also a place where people go to bed early so it's possible to get some sleep. Rooms could be cleaner.

Great location and staff who is very helpful with booking tours which can all be done at the hostel for great prices. However the bathrooms and kitchen are not clean and were not cleaned at all when I stayed here. Some of the equipment in the kitchen did not work. Great hostel for acclimatizing and relaxing after hikes but wouldn’t recommend a long-term stay here.
