Limited cooking equipment and no washing up bowl and dishwasher is broken but otherwise a great property

Everything was terrible. Unfriendly host who pretends not to speak English, came to scream at us only a few minutes after check-out time and was rude and unreasonable throughout. We paid cash for the stay and didn’t even get full change back. Couldn’t be bothered to argue for the sake of a little money. Far from the old town with poor transport links. Wouldn’t recommend anything.

Guest House Maria is good value for money, good beds, good location. It is a small apartment with at least 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) and one bathroom. If there were 4 or more people the one bathroom could be not enough and if people were coming and going at different hours it would be disruptive. Owner was responsive to emails. I would use this hostel again but they should tell customers that there are 3 flights of fairly steep steps to get up to the apartment and it is located on a hill.
