If you want to know and experience true Lima, come to 1900´s, the first and best hostel in the Historic Center. Enjoy your stay with lots of free activities: Yoga classes every morning, Free Walking Tour to Old Town, visit the Magic Water Fountains, Let´s go surfing or/and learn how to cook your own ceviche. All these activities with fellow travelers and our staff. Additionally try our drinks in 1900´s old school Bar and visit the prime museums in Lima we have infront: the Lima Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum.

The hostel offers fun activities for instance guided tour in the city center, salsa lessons, biking tours etc. for free or fair prices. The staff are very helpful and absolutely lovely people.

I supposed to be there for like a week but changed hostel after one night. The dorm room was small, smelly and dark. Besides that there is a broken window into the room, where the hostel cat jumped throw everyday and was sitting in the lockers, beds and I even say one of them pee in there. In the reception I saw the hostel dog pee on the floor where another staff said it to guy that was working but he didn’t clean it up. Kitchen/baths was disgusting as well. Would never come back..

The building was really amazing! We really were interested in the story of the House.
However there was a lot of noise. The door was always open to the room because people didn’t get how you could open it..
The wasn’t enough chairs and tables in the bar.
