Posada El Sol has double and single rooms for those ones who want their own privacy. There are dorms available too, with the bathrooms outside the rooms.
We have hot water 24 hours a day and the hostel has central heating for when it gets cold.
The hostel is surrounded by green spaces and you can find some farms around. If you want to enjoy a nature and the quietness, this is your place.
After an exciting day, we have a common room which is perfect for relax. And one thing you can't miss is our breakfast its home made!

Nice little hostel, super good value and nice breakfast. Little bit of a walk into town tho but overall nice stay

The staff was very nice and had recomendations about what activities you can do in and around Huma Huaca. They have great knowledge about these activities, how long they take and when the next bus is going to the location you want to go to. The dorm I sayed at was clean, but inthe following days I did not notice any staff member cleaning up the room. My dorm had only one plug to charge any devices and the toilette was outside of the dorms. The breakfast, that is included, was nice and abundant.

The place is pretty basic and a little work from the centre down dark lanes which can be a little unnerving but appeared to be safe. There’s also no lock on the room door, and considering they’re outside, you would have thought they would have to improve security and make guests feel safer. I also couldn’t get any hot water from the shower which was my biggest issue.
