If you?re looking to go sight-seeing in Barcelona, Mediterranean Youth Hostel is in a great location. It?s about 6 minutes? walk to La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batll?, La Pedrera, La Rambla, Pla?a Catalunya and the nightlife of Barri G?tic, as well as Girona metro station. This hostel has very clean, quiet rooms, each with large lockers, as well as helpful, friendly staff and popular weekend parties.

Partied hard last night? Our musical bathrooms, stocked with free goodies like shampoo, gel, and conditioner, are your revival zone.

Great place. But we got a room with no sunlight, because the window was in to a really dark yard. But besides from that, everything was great!

This hostel was fab. Staff were lovely and friendly and went out their way to help. Room was nice with a little balcony/terrace area plus a communal terrace which was nice. Brekkie was nice and simple, but appreciate because free! They have different nights like nachos and sangria, beer pong etc but we didn’t do any of those! Location was good, a little walk from the rambla etc but still only like 20 mins so not too bad. Would 100% come back to this hostel

What makes us special is that we offer almost any extra that a backpacker might need. We've got a laundry service, free daily walking tours, plugs and lights at every bed, a chill-out room, a fully equipped kitchen with delicious recipes and more. This is a local neighbourhood, very safe and full of local and non-tourist services, but at the same time, all the Gaudi buildings, La Sagrada Familia, Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter are within walking distance. As almost all of our staff are from Barcelona, we have lots of amazing suggestions about local places to eat, drink and have fun where we've been before. We also know some nice parks, less visited, where it's good to hang around.
