Kin Balam Cabañas

Fantastisk område, dejlig pool, hjælpsom personale. Lidt små cabanas når man sover på fællessovesal. Det var meget svært at være der 4 mennesker plus tasker. Men der var en god backpacker-stemning og poolen var skøn! Restauranten som hører til hostelet var virkelig ikke noget værd, personalet var faktisk ubehøvlede og de var meget langsomme om at komme med både mad og drikke. Restauranten på den anden side kan istedet anbefales!

Very nice place! It is very beautifully located in the jungle Has a little bit of a resort vibe, very relaxing. You can even book a massage, which I would really recommend! The staff is friendly and helpful. The thing I didn't like about the place is that you have to pay extra to use facilities after check-out and to store your luggage. Normally this is included with your stay without extra payment.

Well located and the communal ammenities are great - much more like a resort. However, the dorm I was put in was really bad. I think I was placed in accommodation that is only used during the wet season when the river is flooding making the regular dorms unsafe. However, my friends were put in other accommodation that was MUCH nicer despite paying the same price. I think the prices/pictures need to reflect the reality of the accommodation during the wet season. Wifi was strong.
