Hikers Den is the first and only hostel in Zabljak- with a warm heart and truly homely feel!
We sit down with each and every guest on arrival and help you plan your time in National Park Durmitor whether it be hiking, biking, rafting, canyoning or simply just exploring the beautiful surroundings in the fresh mountain air.
We also have spare hiking shoes, jackets, warm clothes and we will provide you with free paper and digital(offline) hiking maps. Every morning we hold hike briefings and help people find hike buddies if they don't want to hike alone.

We loved our stay at Hikers den! It is very relaxed and social hostel with a lot of nice people in it. If you want to meet new people, this hostel is definitely the place for you.
It is close to the beautiful Durmitor national park and the hostel staff is very helpful and makes sure you have some great hikes or whatever you would like to do while staying.
Only warm recommendations from the three Danish girls!

Jeg kan kun varmt anbefale at overnatte på hostel hikers den. Alex og gina som ejer det hyggelige lille hostel er super hjælpsomme, venlige og imødekomne. De hjælper hellere end gerne med planlægningen at forskellige udflugter i den flotte natur. Man føler sig rigtig godt tilpas her og stedet er dejligt hjemligt.
Endvidere ligger det super godt, med en hyggelig lille restaurant overfor (som gerne server morgenkaffen i morgensolen udenfor hikers den),en halv times gågang til the black lake..

If you enjoy hiking, this is an amazing hostel. When you arrive, they sist you down and give you a list of options of hikes and other activities you can do while staying in Zabljak. Every morning they will also give you a briefing of your chosen map, plotting the walk on maps.me to make it easy to follow. In terms of the hostel itself, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a sitting area outside where everyone congregates in the evening
