This Boutique hostel is located in a charming old building on the main avenue of Lagos directly in front of the marina with beautiful sea views.
Boutique Taghostel is your home away from home. Feeling comfortable, relaxed and at home is important to us.
Here you can find spacious and comfortable dorm or private rooms.
On the main floor we have the reception, a communal kitchen, the living room with Cable TV and an amazing rooftop with sea view.
Taghostel has one of the best locations in Lagos. Everything you need to enjoy Lagos like the beaches, restaurants, bars, supermarkets are all walking distance, no more than 5 minutes from our hostel.
In our reception you will find Filipa (Portuguese), Bianca (Australian) or Maura (Canadian). Ask them to organize some programs for your stay. We have available Surf Lessons, Kayak Tours, Boat Trips, Dolphin Watching and Bicycle Rentals.

Honestly the place is quite run down and dirty. I found the bathrooms particularly horrible.
The manager doesnt really make you feel at home and her staff seems stressed out. They seem to have had some bad experience with people wanting to party as this is the first thing she’ll let you know when you get in the door.
This seems more like a bed & breakfast than a social hostel. I wouldnt go back or recommend it

I loved my stay here and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Lagos! Immediately felt welcomed by the staff, and they really make an effort to helps others connect with their family dinners. Comfortable common spaces made it nice to hang around when the rain kept us inside.The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen is a bit small for cooking, but we made it work :) Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice hostel. It was pretty clean and comfortable. The location is great, although there is a lot of noise from the street at night (as you'd expect). The one thing that was a little uncomfortable was the facilities access. All the common places were closed until 8:30am, which was a little inconvenient when I had an activity booked in the morning and would have liked to make breakfast before. Also, although they will store luggage after checkout, they ask that you not hang out at the hostel after
