Award winning hostel located in the most popular neighbourhood of Cordoba. You will be welcomed by the friendly staff who love travelling too.
We offer rooms with air conditionar and private balconies. The hostel’s fantastic location means the best bars, cafes and restaurants can be found within a minute from the hostel. We are just five blocks from Plaza Espana which is surrounded by some of the best museums in Cordoba. From there you can enter Park Sarmiento – the largest park in the city centre where you can relax, soak up some sun, go for a much needed run, use free outdoor gym equipment, blend in with the locals by drinking mate or buy some typical street food.
Reaching the hostel from the main bus terminal is easy. The town centre is a nice walk away and we are also near the arty neighbourhood which has a market Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The area is full of cool artworks and hand-crafts.
Relax in the spacious common areas, entertain or be entertained with the hostel guitar. Share stories, culture and dreams with international travellers and Argentinians. Have fun in a relaxed environment. Enjoy the night sky and discounted drinks at the beautiful terrace bar upstairs. We are a part of the community and host language exchange evenings every week. Anything but clean. Horrible bunk beds with old thin and filthy matraces. Ingot stained bed sheets and that seems to be normal. The window to the street could not be closed properly while it was freezing cold outside. Furthermore no curtains to the street, so sleeping was kind of imposible. Showers looked horrible and the WC is shared with a bar open to the public. The location is great, staff is friendly, but this hostel is definitely on the lower end. Booked 3 nights and stayed only one.

Terrible. Dirty. Noisy. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Upon arrival after a long bus journey we were greeted by a receptionist who initially told us we did not have a booking. We pointed out our names quite clearly shown on the screen.. We were then asked for payment and she asked us to pay DOUBLE what we had signed up to on Hostelworld, which we were quick to correct.
Then we were taken to our dorm room, which was foul, dirty and rundown. The beds we were given had clearly not been cleaned as there were hairs and stains all over the bedclothes and I found a dirty sock under my pillow. The toilets and shower were if anything worse, not clean, no locks on the doors. The whole place also stank of cigarette smoke as there were people smoking inside.
The cherry on top of the terrible grotty cake was when we went to try and sleep (on the 400 year old lumpy pillow) was that we were in a room right next to the ‘communal area’ are were kept awake until 3am by people drinking and having the TV on max volume. Also the air con didn’t work so we had to keep the window open (I say open, it only opened a crack at it was wedged behind a bed) so had to listen to the loud main road outside.
We stayed for one night out of the two we had booked and went elsewhere.
