We cater exclusively for the Young & Young at Heart Backpacker 18-38, Photo IDs are required on Check In, as we have Entertainment on Weekends and operate a Very 'Bustling' and Social Hostel.

As guests arrive and depart at varying times and numbers, it is impossible for us to guarantee that all group bookings can be allocated in one room together. Nevertheless we always try to keep groups together.

It’s really dirty everywhere and the bar underneath the rooms play loud music every evening/night and it is impossible to get a good nights sleep. The kitchen was dirty as well and there was only one shower for the whole floor. Would not recommend it even though it is cheap. It’s not worth it

The age limit is discriminating. Had not read the very small print about the age limit and was only allowed to stay one night. It was very humiliating. The kitchen facilities are very limited compared to other hostels. The hostel atmosphere and the area where it is situated is not particularly nice.

You get what you pay for. Cleaners were running around all the time but it was still quit dirty. The bathroom was okay, when they weren't out of order, which they always were. Kitchen too small, and no common area so people were there takning space without eating. A lot of fridge-space though. Too small lockers and laundry costs £9.50 which is crazy. The music in the pub was also crazy, way too high, no one was listening anyway. The stuff was helpful and really nice, and the location is OK.
