We booked a private room. We ended up living on the roof in a dorm room. No privacy and no safe place for our belongings.
You get no help from the staff. Feels like they just waiting for you to leave.

Rented a private room on the second floor (inside another dorm room). Walls where very thin and could hear everything. Room was dirty, no aircon and fan was not working. Mattress was old, pillows and pillow cases where thin and overused. Shared bathroom was never cleaned, dustbin overflowing with toilet paper, water pressure was intermittent and cut off sometimes. Wifi was slow. Good location, very central. Staff was helpful but not always present. common areas ok. Overall not worth the money.

Our stay at the Bella’s Backpackers was a great experience. The staff were awesome that got to know their guests, and would invite us all to go out to the bars with them. Great common area and kitchen to meet people as well! We definitely recommend checking out this hostel :)
