Cabinas Tortuguero is a small accommodation in the center of Tortuguero. This place can be reached only by boat or small plane. The national park is only 200 meters away from the property. Here you can make beautiful canoe trips and hikes. The sea is only a short distance away, after almost 300 meters you're there. All rooms are in wooden houses that have a porch with hammocks. Here you can enjoy the view in the tropical garden.
The rooms are basic, rustic and clean.

Loved the garden that this hostel was in, so leafy and tropical. Easy to find and felt like a peaceful place in tortuguero which can get loud at night! Staff were really good at helping us organise trips. The room could’ve been cleaner but it was everything we needed - and the hammocks were so great. Get the breakfast!! It was SO delicious and probably the best value in the whole of tortuguero.

The hostel is fine for the price. Really friendly staff. Bathrooms were relatively clean, but poorly equipped. The dorm is okay, the beds look a little overaged and should be renewed. Wouldn’t stay more than 2 nights.

The best hostel of our trip. The facilities are simple but cute and clean. There is hot water, a small but complete kitchen and a very nice common are to chill. There is free coffee and tea all day. But best of all, the staff, so nice and helpful! If you can afford it, try the homemade breakfast (at extra cost, but SO much worth it).
